Tektro brake levers?

https://www.flickr.com/photos/rattle...n/photostream/

Can somebody please tell me for sure whether or not these are current-production Tektro brake levers and the specific model number? I can't identify them from the Tektro web site. The shape appears to approximate Shimano brifters more than any other Tektro levers I've seen. Thanks.

Sorry, can't get picture to show up.

Looks like RL340. I have a pair myself. Model number should be printed on the inside of the lever

And in fact my 340s came stock on a Cross Check I used to own so if those came on that Cross Check in the photo they are most likely RL340

I think you're right. I have some, too.

Amazon.com : Tektro RL340 Ergo Brake Levers Black/Silver : Bike Brake Levers : Sports & Outdoors

OP, be aware that the lever blades flare to the outside a little, to make braking from the drops easier.

Those are a little fancier. I have a pair of them, too. The ones with gum hoods and drilled lever blades are pretty swanky. They look weird at first, but grow on you.

I was tempted by those for awhile, but ended up just getting some brown hoods for the RL340 levers I already had.

I own one really strange pair of Tektro levers - they have the large hoods of the RL340, but the levers/blades are from the older R200 (the silver lever in the photo ClarkinHawaii posted).

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

TRP (Tektro Racing Products) is Tektro's upscale division so the components are a bit fancier, better finished and more expensive. Functionally, they are pretty much identical.

TRP, Its where they do the R&D . the rest of it, Tektro, is just mass production ..

TRP is also a higher-line product line. It's not just an R&D function.

Oh hai, that's my photo lol

They are indeed the brake levers that came stock on my Cross-Check.
Details can be found here: Cross-Check | Bikes | Surly Bikes

long story short:
Brake Levers
Tektro RL341 short reach on 42, 46 & 50mm frames, RL340 standard reach on all others

and mine is a 52" frame so its the RL340

Then I guess SRAM is in the R&D business too.
