DT240 - Squeak
I have a set of Dt 240’s I use as my primary wheels. They have about 7K on them now. The rear has just started squeaking. This does it just rolling the wheel at rest on the stand, but also riding it under load. It is coming from the non drive side. I opened both end caps an applied a few drops of low viscosity chain lube, but this didn’t help. Anyone else had this?

If it is squeaking, chances are the bearings are dry. I believe those wheels use cartridge bearings. You need to remove and replace the cartridges- the are sealed (to a point), so the lube application did no good, and is not the proper viscosity for bearings anyway.
