GXP bottom bracket help

Switched to a gxp bottom bracket and sram force crank a few months ago. Have had constant trouble with it. Have tightened and torqued everything else on the frame, but they have developed a nice creak when under moderate to heavy power.

Im afraid to pull them back out of the frame as they are very tight and snug.

the drive side bearing seems to be somewhat junky, it still spins but not very well.

Do you guys think I should try to regrease the threads on the cups, or is my bearing the possible culprit of the noise.

thanks.

It seems odd for new gear, but I've had BB creaks and eliminated them by greasing the BB threads.

I've also had luck taking the cups out and putting a lap of Teflon plumber's tape on the cups threads.

I am 90% positive its the crank, I have re-greased the headset multiple times, took BB cups of and cleaned/regreased. Did not reface, didnt think it was necessary. The cups seem quite flush when torqued.

Will try teflon.

I have noticed the bolt on my crank seems to come loose very fast though. All the threads look fine.

this has become the itch I cannot scratch

I've got this setup on a titanium frame. I seem to develop creaking after riding around 6000-7000 miles. Pulling the bearings, cleaning the threads and applying grease to both the frame and the bearing threads and re-installing solves the creaking problem. I never have a problem with the crank bolt coming loose. You need to apply a liberal amount of grease to the splines and then get that sucker TIGHT.
