9-speed crank for BB90 bottom bracket
Well it's that time again. The time when I clean my bike only to notice that my frame has a crack. Fortunately, the lifetime warranty will provide me a new one (again) but this time I have a problem.
My old bike had 9-speed Dura Ace and the old style octalink bottom bracket. The new frame will have a BB90 press-fit bottom bracket. Since I don't want to upgrade the group set for this frame swap, I need to figure out who makes a decent crankset that fits the BB90 press-fit bb.
I've been out of the component loop for too long. Can anyone make any recommendations?
Thanks.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!
Here is a description of the various new bottom bracket "standards": Complete guide to bottom brackets - BikeRadar
From this I gather that any of the Shimano Hollowtech II cranks will work with a BB90 set up so I recommend a 105 FC-5600 or FC-5700 or a Tiagra FC-4600 crank as the lowest cost replacement.

Yeah, I think I'm only going to find this in 10-speed compatibility, so I'm just going to have to deal with whatever shifting issues arise from the wider 9-sp chain. I've used an 8-sp crank on a 9-sp setup before, but not the other way around. Hopefully it won't be too horrible.

Thanks, I'll look for one of those! What a mishmash! A DA bike with a Tiagra crank. I doubt I'd notice the difference blindfolded.
