rear camera seat post mount suggestions?

my mount for my rear facing camera snapped. i'm curious if there's a better solution.

RIDEYE SEATPOST MOUNT ? Rideye

the device provides a handlebar "style" mount but rear facing - same diameter and orientation.

any alternatives?

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

The overkill solution might be to use an old (cheap) threadless stem, then a short stub sticking out one side to support a camera handlebar bracket.
