RIP Dave Mirra

Very nice guy. Passed away, today, age 41.
Ambassador for BMX, X-Games, Subaru, and winner of RAAM.

Loss for cycling, big time.

Wow. So soon after Kelly McGarry passed away at a young age.

Tough week.

Dave Mirra Obituary - Greenville, NC | The Daily Reflector

It is hard to imagine how a BMX forum doesn't think much of this, but I think they've long since gravitated elsewhere....

I felt pretty bad when I heard the news of him passing. He was a big part of my sons life when he was in his teens, we considered Mirra a bmx "god" and we have many vhs videos of Dave. we also still have my sons Mirra 540 air which is almost in never ridden condition.
