bmx broken bones?

Anybody break bones riding bmx bikes?

I did:
I broke my wrist jumping my ROYCE UNION bike. (1979) I didn't know until I tried to pour a pitcher of fruit drink.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Is 1979 when the bike was made or bought, or when you broke your wrist?

If the date of the break, I'm surprised that you took this long to notice.

broken arm in 1979

I broke my arm in 79, the royce union was before.....It had a crank where you had to put a metal peg into it. Well, I took it apart and my dad hammered the peg in and the crank fell off soon after.

I'm lucky all I ever did was dislocate a disk in my back once. My little brother through broke his arm so bad the bone was sticking out, because the stem on his bike failed.

Lots of scrapes, bumps and bruises from my BMX days back in the late 70s, but thankfully no broken bones.

Plenty of broken bones for other reasons, though. In fact one day when I started to list them all I realized I was starting to approach Evel Knievel levels.
