Hey everyone. I've been looking for a new bike. I was hoping some of you could help. I had a Specialized Hotrock that I really liked, but was looking for something a bit more advanced. I like 24 or 26" bikes, hardtail suspension, and disc brakes preferred but not mandatory. It would be used for commuting, but I'd like to be able to take it on mountain trails and a pump track. Any suggestions? I'd also like to keep it as cheap as possible, without sacrificing quality. I was thinking $500 maximum. Any help is aappreciated.

For your price point if youre wanting to buy new, i'd skip the disc brake and suspension fork
