Ok, I suppose I can at least understand the girl's pants for BMX, but you've gone way too far.

LMAO Kenetik! Maybe Ex's calibrate torque wrench could stop the trainer bra from slipping.

Maybe if you would have read my most recent post on this thread, you wuld have know that I returned it 2 days after I got it, and that I ordered a redneck stem instead(Redneck XLT).

The thing that I love about Danscomp, is that you can exchange almost anything you buy for something else if you don't like how it performs. The worst that might happen is that you might have to yell a bit on the phone, but either way you can exchange it for something else. Which is why I didn't feel stupid getting the Odyssey stem. I read a lot of reviews on it, most of them saying that it didn't slip, but I figured that if it did I could exchange it for a redneck, and if it didn't, then I would have a pretty cool looking, weight saveing, and inovative stem.

So next time before you jump to conclusions(like me needing mental help), get all the facts.

ok, so you put it on wrong and then blamed the stem for not working correctly?

the instructions say to put it so the logo is facing up. if you didn't get that part right, I'm guessing you probably didn't grease the wedges, nut and bolt. if you did use grease, I'm guessing you probably got grease on the bars too.

I run this stem, my friend runs this stem as well as many pros that don't get paid to run it. it works great if set up correctly.

Who said I put it on wrong? I DID grease the wedges, and I didn't get grease on the bars. It was like 9 when I got it and I was just barely awake, so the first time I put it on it was upside down, I didn't ride it like that.

YOU said you put it on wrong or installed it incorrectly. you didnt say you took it off to put the logo up...

anyways. this stem works great. if a person can't get it to work, it's not the stems fault, it's user error.

anyways, you got a new stem, your bars stay where you want them, so get out and ride!)

actually my friend just got the odyssey elementary stem and it cracked his gooseneck on his forks about 2 and a half inches down. That's why you don't tighten the hell out of a stem.

I guess this thing is too complicated for most people, do I need to smack y'all with a torque wrench? Too loose, too tight, broke this, that slipped...come ON, folks!

What the fuk is a gooseneck on a fork. I thought goosenecks were those 1 inch oldschool shafted stems
