Crank Problems
Ive got some really shoddy 3pc cranks, Prowheel, That came on my schwinn. There now creaking banging knocking and generally a bit knackered. I either need help on buying a new part if anyone knows what will be wrong with it, or need help on fixing them. If it comes to it and i need a new crank, Whats the best 3pc to get for bout £65 and where from.
Cheers if anyone can help.

'Creaking banging knocking and generally knackered' could be any number of things from dry, loose bearings ground into powder down to rounded splines on the spindle. The general sentiment here is save your money and drop it on a worthwhile crankset, that's one place that's money well spent. I won't suggest anything offhand because I don't know much about prices and availablity in the UK, but there are resources online to help you out.

There's a big fat BMX mag - BMXUK(?) that will have all sorts of internet deals for you. If you get something quality, like Profile cranks, you won't have to replace them again.
