Races?
On BMX Races, like around the bumpy tracks of dirt, do some people put clipless pedals on their bikes? I'm thinking bout doing this.

Depends on how good you are, and if you think it will help you. At my track, there's plenty of racers going clipless, and plenty with platforms. Personally, I use a good set of pinned platforms with a Vans-style clipless shoe that has a stiff sole and rubber bottom. Good grip, no slip, but I don't need to worry about unclipping when things get sketchy. I go clipless on my MTB, but I can't afford to get hurt on the track.
