what kind of spoked wheels were the ones that you tacoed? skyways flex too much and crack easy(and thats coming from a 123lb. short guy). We're not trying to pick on you or be jerks to you when we say that a race bike like that isnt going to hold up to a lot of abuse from street riding. it just isnt designed for that. Its like taking a Ferrari off-roading, it just want designed for that and won't last too long with the abuse.

I wish I could remember the brands. 1 was a Mongoose wheel with holes between the nipples. It had super thick spokes & weighed a ton. BTW, I never cracked a Skyway.
I don't feel threatened by your post at all.

BTW I've seen an old '83 Honda Civic take more offroad abuse that many lifted 4x4's broke on....

but a honda civic isnt made from carbon fiber, has a bit more ground clearance and softer suspension with more travel than a race car like a Ferrari. that deosnt really matter as long as you get what im trying to say

My former Hutch Pro Racer handled the abuse.
I wouldn't rule out a spoked wheel. Show me one as durable, or stronger than a mag...

The only bad thing about spoke wheels is keeping them nice looking...cleaning 'em is a beautch.

Didn't the last bike you had complete faith and trust in break when you were riding a trail, so you returned it and got your $200 back from walmart?
I don't understand why you don't trust anyone's opinion, some people do actually know what they're talking about.

Yeah. I can laugh at myself.
It's a very strong frame to be for racing. I feel comfortable using it. If only others could just move on. I still have questions, but negativity has made me refrain from asking.
There are jokes then there are insults. There hasn't been much joking.
