Eastern for first bike.......

Hey guys, I posted a few weeks back for advice on a Giant Modem G for a first BMX and was advised to search for a better bike for the money. I finally found a dealer near me that has most of the Eastern line. I am interested in freestlye/flatland and would like some advice, as I'm not exactly sure what to look for in this category. My dealer has the Traildigger, Metalhead, Element, Sequence, Jane and Ace of Spades. I am kind of leaning towards the Metalhead, mainly becasue it has front brakes, but I am open to any advice. Might not mean alot but I'm 5'7 and 145lbs. Thanks......

Depends how much money you have to spend... for what you want to do, the metalhead is the best deal... if you have a lot of money to spend, buy the ace of spades, buy a chrome front rim, buy front brake, buy brake lever... if you want to save a lot of money, just buy the metalhead

i've got a metalhead and it's a good bike - but it's more of a street/park bike than a flatland bike. i don't know if eastern do any flatland bikes...?

Yeah, I haven't seen one of them, they probably don't have one... but Beerman could tell you for a fact.

I think I can afford the Jane or the Ace of Spades, I think there are two versions of that one......the cheaper of the two Aces, but still if the Metalhead would be better suited, I'll go with that

The metalhead is a very good choice for the money, although I would go with the ace of spades because of the better parts... but it does not have front brakes and such... so, it really depends on how much and if you really want to flat...

I'm going to get it around the end of this quarter (in another 6-7 weeks), because if I do good in school, my uncle is going to chip in a few hundred bucks... so, it depends on how much money he gives me... I'll probly end up getting the metalhead or fit pro tho...
