Odysse Race is worth buying if you run 3/8th front axel.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

Brake. Though. Odyssey. Axle.

Is it really that difficult?

Thats true.

Its fairly light, and its strong and covered by a warranty.

I wouldnt get the Race unless your smooth though, becuase i hear if you bend or brake it, Odyssey will send you the Dirt Fork.

I am not sure how smooth you have to be to be safe with the Race fork, but I run 3/8 axles, and like you said if you bend the dropouts because of peg use you get Dirt forks with you warranty, and if you bend the steer tube(or whatever you call it) they just give you an Odyssey Race for warranty. That is why I didn't stress to bad over getting the Race instead of Dirt, because I am safe anyway I go, and I wouldn't mind having a little lighter bike(if I went with the Race, which I did).

Actually, it does. In the forum guidelines that you agreed to, it states that you should do your best when it comes to spelling and grammar. You should also avoid the use of slang and AOLese. Got it?

If you break the Race fork, Odyssey will almost postively send you the Dirt fork...

Unless you were actually racing with it, and then they may send you another race fork...

I got the Dirt Fork because i didnt want to get a new hub/axle or have to grind down anything, and i know if i would have gotten the race fork, i would have done something to it, and its just my luck that i would be the one to break it.

Mines great, ive thrown my bike, bailed like crazy, and beat the hell out of it , and its still straight and the paint doesnt chip easily, at least mine doesnt (maybe the other factor is becuase when i bailed the biggest i was riding trails) but still, im set for life with that fork...
