Hey guys, i found the best bike yet

Its a Trek Vert 2 and a Trek TR20

the first one is for Freestyle and the 2nd one is for Dirt

my friend told me that its better to use a Dirt bike with upgrades (pegs, rotor, etc) than a Freestyle.

is this true?
this is for street
help me guys
which should i buy?
thanks

buy whatever one you want.

if your just learning, either bike will be just fine.

by the time you have some basic skills down, either bike will need parts replace.

so get whatever one you like and ride it.

well im new as well,, but back when i did rode,, 15 years ago,, dirt bikes were usually lighter,, so those guys could catch more air,, and the freestylers,, would have the heavier bikes,, because there wasnt any air to catch on flatland,,, but im sure times have changed,,, but if same holds true today i think it would be a lil easier to convert a dirt bike into a freestyler instead of a freestyler into a dirt bike... buy the bike you feel comfortable with...

and enjoy this sport for what it is,,, lots of fun...

just get a frame that you know will hold up to the abuse of learning and bailing. if you are still going to do some hard riding get the "freestyle" and just run it stripped down to save wieght for dirt.
