most are 25.4mm (1"). the redline is probably 22.2 mmand some bmx's (possibly the diamondback) are 27.2mm

His answer was "some if not all". That's totally contradictory. Steel posts are generally all the same size. Aluminum ones come in different diameters.

I think I've seen a Mongoose bike from about 1984 or something that was pretty similar to yours, I'm not sure tho.

1997 Mongoose Rogue build

I bought a 1998 Mongoose Hooligan and I'm thinking of using it for parts to build up my 1997 Mongoose Rogue sell the frame and parts I can't use and then use the rogue parts to build up my 1997 Mongoose Sniper what should I do?
