Bargin BMX

Ok, so i went down to my local skate park wich is a 15 min drive. I spoke to the natives and they told me not to get a Dimondback... (not that I was considering it for a second) as they would all take the piss every time i went. I then asked if anyone was selling a decent bike, because I read in another post that people often have spares. I'll cut to the chase!!

I was offered a Specialized - Fuse II without the wheels for 40 quit wich is um $56 US.

I know its not ideal but is it ok for someone comin back into the game after like 3 years?

The local bike shop will sell me black sun rims with tubes and tires for 85 pounds um... $120 US.

Is that good? SOOO... I'll be riding for 125 + needs grips 8 quid 133... I will have a bike for $188

How are the other parts on the frame? Probably crap. Buy a new complete for 200 and it may last longer.

If you can see what kind of parts are on the fuse, it might be worth getting that. If there are any upgrades, and nothing is terribly beat up, with a new wheelset it'd be better than a really low end complete. The parts on mine are decent (it's the fuse 3 though), but I don't like the cranks or the rear hub a lot.

I still say fuse, a $200 complete wont be anything special. If you get the fuse and put a good wheelset on it it will be better then any complete you can get for $200.
