new bike which one

Hey

I'm new to the forum and im gettin a new bike and i was wondering what do you think would be a good bike i have rode alot before on a diamondback that i had its just not up to par any more. I dont have all the money in the world to spend im only 13 but i could work around the neibohor hood and get so money and im not in a hurry to get it either i mean i want it as soon as possible but i do have time to work. I was looking at the poverty buc 99 and was wondering if it was any good i will be doing mostly hitting lots of jumps in grass, dirt and some times on the street. im not afraid of getting in a wreck or getting hurt so the bike will have to take so abuse. So please help me out and tell me what you think if you have any questions feel free to ask and the poverty buc 99 isnt the only bike i am willing to get so through some other names at me and if you can tell me the +'s and -'s about that bike

Thanks

James

Ok buddy I think I can help you out here

Bike : DK Six Or Eight Pack

Eight Pack
Pros
Ok this is a strong bike. Ive been riding it for quite awhile now and its did me good. It is easily upgradable and already comes ready to ride. It Has good balance and nice parts already.
But this bike does have some cons. Im not saying that a new bike is gonna be light. It weighs around 34-35lbs. A strong bike, needs a strong frame and to be strong it need to have same weight. The brakes on this bike arent so great at first, but you can buy better brakes at a reasonable cost. IThe cranks can come loose about every 3-4 months, and check the headset.

Bike : Six Pack
This is one of the better DK's, not including the "Legacy" or any custom rider bikes. This bike already comes with 3pc cranks and is lighter then the Eight Pack by about 4 lbs. It comes with strong rims and nice brakes.
But like the Eight Pack the brakes arent so hot. But what really sticks out about this bike is the color. This bike can only be purchased in Light Blue. You can always repaint it. But riding your bike isnt about the color. Just to prove it my friend has painted his bike gold, just to prove to younger riders that the color doesnt matter. All that matters is the way you ride it and whats on the bike.

You can also get S&M bike, other DK's, Hoffaman's, T - 1 ((Frames )), and you can customize your bike on websites...
