So as most of you know...

My Shadow driver blew up. And i need a new one because my friends Odyssey wheel skips like crazy and scares me, not to mention the chrome plating is chipping off. I e-mailed the Shadow's (haha.) to see if they could give me a new one under the warranty that doesn't exist and the guy said they would send some new bearings. Now i don't know about you but i'm far too lazy to put those tiny ass bearings in, and they aren't sealed like most hubs are. (the bearings right under the driver, not the ones that are for the axle...) so in the e-mail i pled that they send me a whole new driver, but i doubt they will. If they don't and the bearings are terrible and this sucker blows up again should i stop buying Shadow stuff since they wont help me? For sure if these bearings don't work and they wont send a driver, i'm going to get a Profile mini ss and lace it up to my current rim, but i'm hoping they come through and back up their products.

Also! I think i'm going to get my new front wheel soon and complete my bike. What do you all think:

Profile mini hub (antifreeze!)vs. Primo 3/8"(black)?

Sun Rhynolite (black) vs. Primo 7005(black)?

The spokes will be DT regardless of the rim and hub.

Oh, and while on the subject of asking your opinions, which one of these lady's should i take out to dinner?

Second from the right for sure. But cheat on her with the one on the far right occasionally.

I don't know about the hub thing, how much is a new driver to buy? Maybe they can sell you one cheaper if not give you one.

My rhynolite rims are OK, I haven't bent them yet, so I guess they're decently strong.

Priceless reply.

Anywho, a new driver is like $44 but i'm not trying to pay full price to have it blow up again. I really just want to get a Profile cassete with a legit warranty card and get this over with unless they will come through at Shadow.

Get a profile cassette and front hub, and for the front rim get a 7ka. and if you wont change your mind then get the primo, even though primo is gay.

And i blew up freewheels like at least every few months when i had them.

Fuzzy- How is Primo gay? Their rims look really nice, especially the 7005...i would get an Odyssey but they cost more than the Primo...

I think i'm pretty set on the mini 3/8" hub. But has anyone had an experience with the allen studs?

I've just seen alot of bad stuff happen with Primo parts, and I think most of their stuff is soo ugly. It's mostly just one of those companies I don't like for some reason I don't really know. Just like shadow. I'd say they extra $$ for the ody rim would be worth it though.

I will probably end up with the Demolition rear hub because it's cheap and I've tried one and liked it. I also want the primo 7005 rim because it's a very strong rim just because of the material it is made out of which is a lot better than 6061 aluminum. DT spokes all the way.

Edit: As for the girls, I'd have a foursome with the three on the right.

I feel like the Shadow Conspiracy would be an awesome name for a terrible EMO band that's lead singer wears his mothers pants, and screams like her too.

Also...i think i'm going to go ahead and get the Odyssey 7ka and lace it to my Profile cassette (which i'm pretty sure i'll be getting) and then lace my old Odyssey hazard to the Profile mini...

Both the hubs are going to be ANTIFREEEEEEZEEE!

I'll be interested to know how those are compared to the Shadow rant. My stock freewheel should be alright for a while though.

I used to go through ACS Fat claws every few months. I must have had at least 5 or 6 of them before i got a cassette.

And i sorta changed my mind so i can save money...

I'm gong to get the Mosh Justice Lite front wheel, since it has the rim and spoke count i want and if the hub lasts, i'll just keep it. If not i'll get the Profile later on. But the whole Mosh wheel is the same price as the Profile hub alone. And for the back wheel i'm just going to keep my current rim and lace it up with some DT spokes to a Profile mini ss in antifreeze. I figure if i bend or do anything to the rim i have now, then i'll get a 7ka or Primo 7005. As for the front wheel, it's alot cheaper and i'm sure the hub will last me.
