Guide to bike/skate parks?

i was just wondering if there is a good source about where bike parks are? or bike friendly skate parks? (is that what you'd call them? or do i just need to start googling? wanted to check with you all first.

i will be moving from missouri to arizona in july. if i can locate a nice park, i might actually be able to move near it so i will be in riding distance.

if any of you know the area, it will be more east valley. like chandler, gilbert, mesa, tempe, apache junction, ahwatukee, scottsdale, fountain hills...but most likely NOT phoenix or anything in the west.

thanks

There's a big one in one of the suburbs that's completely against bikes, so unless you want a ticket and a million skateboards thrown at you that one sucks.

I think there was one going up that was bikes only (sweet!), but seems to me it was in Tucson or something.

oh okay. yeah, that's too far...bummer. i know there is something in scottsdale in the "greenbelt" where people do outdoor type stuff. however, it threatens tickets to bicycles. this is right on the scottsdale city site.

why do they cater to skate boards? i kept coming up with skate parks in those towns i mentioned. some would say no bikes. i was getting discouraged so i started this thread.

do you guys sneak into these places? or is that definitely not adviseable? do cops really ticket for that? they should be spending their time with more productive things like busting druggies in the middle of the night making transactions at gas stations... (i worked at a chevron ---tweakers)

cops have always been a thorn in my side with motocross practicing

Move to Canada. I don't know anyone who has ever gotten a ticket here in Manitoba, and all of our parks are BMX friendly. Lots of good street too.
