I much prefer Sealed but thats just because i save money. They run a lot smoother and spin less making no foot tricks easier. Also, they are easier to maintain and last longer. I feel that they are worth the money.

Get Jim C's by the way

Gunz, don't you have Jim C's? I can't see why anyone would go with anything else after owning these, unless the other option was like over $100.

Nope, I have crappy second-hand Welgo's with all the pins missing. Before I ride again, I'm slapping on some new pedals. If I had good pedals I might not have broken my leg in the first place. Pretty much all of my pins are missing, and it's all like smashed up so you can't even replace them.

If you "trash up" sealed pedals, you can still buy new ones.

So you rode bent pedals? So, if you rode bent Jimmy C's they would be good? How can you judge a pedal if it's already bent? Do you have any more details? Like how it bent or something? I'm really looking into these pedals, so any info would be good info.

1. The kid was a fairly light rider, maybe 120 (but did case sometimes), and didnt ride hard

2. they suck even more because theyre essentially wellgo clones with sealed bearings.

3. im biased against the majority of mosh products

but sealed bearings are nice and they seem to be pretty good for the price

wow, I can't believe I'm being positive for once

I grind lots, never had a problem with the pedals.

It's harder to crush the bearings in sealed pedals then unsealed.

Some pedal grinds but I haven't gotten them dialed yet, mostly big double pegs and feebles, plus I've tried a few rodeo's.

I also do lots of stalls. Never had a problem.

I'm not sure, I would think they would come loose quicker but you can always tighten them, plus you can always rebuild them out of ****ty pedals.

if you pedal grind theres no point in getting sealed pedals because you strip the pins and destroy the body.
