I think the lesson to be learned here is "Please don't mess with That Forum Guy".

Additionally, "Please don't mess with Madman2k".

Yeah. I didn't actually do anything, expat did. I think he banned and cleared his posts the way you're suppsed to do it for spammers, it physically deletes all of them.

He came back with a new name, and I said that I would overlook that, as long as he followed the guidelines. So he proceeded to be a jerk, for no apparent reason. That's why he was banned. Then his posts were pruned, which means the only traces left are where one of you quoted him.

Strips of fried fish and fries. And it should come wrapped in paper. Stop by the bottle shop on your way to the park with it.

And it needs vinegar. Usually a malt beverage if one is of an age to enjoy such a thing. And it's not just generic 'fish'. It should be plaice or sole to be best...

Yes, indeed. Halibut is also an excellent choice. Probably the one most likely to be encountered in North America, too.

It doesn't sound that way, and I get the feeling that mude's probably not had winkles or eel, either.

Come on, you're from Lancashire, you're supposed to eat those things.

I don't much fancy them either though.
