oldest bike I'm riding...195? Schwinn Cruiser that's getting a winter overhaul (hence the lack of tires)

Oldest bike I own [actually, my bike shop owns(but I own the shop)] 194? Schwinn built Excelsior (sorry, don't have a photo yet)

Oldest BMX: a Preditor like the one I owned in High School [but 2 years newer (mine was a 1987, this one is from 1989-ish)]...

...but who cares!?!

Nope, just warm. I only wear them inside, when it's cold.

No offense Expat, but if I saw a guy walking down the street in Ugg boots, I would definitely have to make fun of him.

Just to let you all know that we finally made a purchase...a MirraCo Icon Option. After consideration we believed that this bike was the best fit for the money. It does have the three piece crankshaft, thicker axels for the option of adding on pegs later, and a steel chain tensioner. My son is so excited to get on it and take it for a ride this spring... now we just need to get rid of the snow.

Thanks so much guys for all of your great info and opinions even about the Ugg boots

Eh. I can't say I'm happy with your decision... but hopefully your son enjoys it and doesn't break too much on it.

You might want to have the local shop check your sons forks some of the MirraCo completes had bad welds or lack of welds on the forks...

We did purchase it from the local bike shop. It was not the most highly reccomended, but for the money that we wanted to spend, it was defenetly the best pick. I think the bike will work out great. It is defenetly better than anything you would find at Wal-Mart.
