2003 GT Vertigo Good/Bad?

Hi, I'm pretty much new here . I had bought a in-new condition 2003 GT Vertigo. It had flat tires and but was all standard parts except for rims. I was pretty excited cuz i just got into BMX and it was my first BMX bike. When I tried it out, it was heavy ! Even by the looks of it. I couldn't do a bunny hop, but I think I was performing the hop wrong . I'm going to buy a 2005 Fit Aitken S2-1 Frame to replace the the Vertigo frame. Is this a good idea? Is the Vertigo good for doing tailspins, grinding, and all other tricks? I'm just disappointed of the heaviness. Its gay. What do you think of it? THnx

alright:

1. "its gay" - whats gay? im assuming you refering to some sort of bike/part. if so then it has no sexual preference.
2. if you already bought it then why are you worrying about it
3. whats a tailspin, i've never heard of it
4. deal with it,you cant bunny hop because you suck, not because of the bike
5. save up for the aitken then buy it,dont buy it until your gt gets mess up bad

Wow nice welcoming...... the frame is "gay". if you dont know what that means, well sucks 4 u, and im not talking about sexual appearance. What do u mean u never heard of a tailspin, wow i'm a beginner and I know this. anyways, its a flatland and freestyle bmx trick. And I dont know and u dont know if i suck cuz i just started and i know its my problem for bunny hopping, but now i know how to do it, in fact i had went outside a few minutes ago to do it the right way and hopped 6 inches and in just 2-4 days! the aitken, well i'm getting it for $40 or more in new condition from eBay. I'm thinking its not really a freestyle bmx bike, but a racing bmx bike cuz it says GT Racing on the fork. But what do u think of the bike, meaning my Vertigo?

1. i never mention anything about "sexual appearance"
2. this isnt aim, type out your words
3. i doubt anyone on here has heard of a tailspin
4. if you went outside and did it why do you complain in your first post about not being able to
5. if it was a racing bike you wouldnt be complaing about weight
6. grow some muscle so you dont have to worry about it

Sorry about getting pissed off mude. I'm pretty tired now. I have school tommorow, which sucks. Anyways, do you have an S&M BMX? I heard that they are pretty good. Thanks.

Umm, why would you buy a fit series 2 if you ride flat? Get a flat frame.

I don't ride flatland, I was just mentioning to mude about tailspins used in flatland. I'm going to buy the Fit for Freestyle and Street.
