He can't really buy anything for $250 at his size. He really should spend a bit more. Also, riding on a BMX bike for 5-6 miles is not quite a fun task.

The general-lee is perfect. Thats exactly what I, and quite a few others here would probably have suggested. And gunz 5-6 miles is nothing.

The being big enough part is not the problem. 24" bikes would be his best bet if he really wants to go down that road. The General Lee is actually pretty nice and that's what he should go with.

I did suggest it. Well, I was in the process of doing so when you chimed in.

Speaking of 24" bikes, was it my imagination, or in Animal All Day (I think, maybe it was Can I Eat?), did Steven Hamilton do a curved wallride with a 24" bike?

I've left my house at like 5am and rode like 45 miles in one day on a 20"bmx with the seat slammed.

Unless you rode 45 miles to a spot to ride...WHY?...just...WHY?!

A few months ago i would ride 4ish miles to some trails to dig/ride around 8am every Saturday. For about 4weeks straight. Now that winter is over i stopped though because i'd rather work on my trails, but for some reason mine would freeze before these other ones would.

It's 75 degrees today. I am so tempted to take out anything that has two wheels and fly around on it.

Somewhat true.

I swear it's got something to do with the power lines and the fact were all going to get cancer from digging and riding there year after year.

Well, I put my bike together (mostly). I didn't line everything up perfectly, so the steering is a bit off, and I have no air in the tires at all to the point where it is impossible to go in a straight line, but I just tried some fakie rollbacks in my bassment that has absolutely no room. It was fun... I didn't kill myself either.
