If you want your bars shorter, it's worth it.
Pros: You can make your bars how you want them.
Cons: If you cut your bars, you can never get your bars back to the way they were.

Best way to do it: Measure (twice), and then cut with a pipe cutter.

Screw the pipe cutter, just hack em off with a hack saw and file em smooth.

Or you could do it Fuzzystyle (which is what I did, without the filing).

Haha. I've actually been doing some thinking. One of my friends who skates has some cut-down slams. I could probably get them for like $15-$20. The only problem is that they are bright green... but I can always spraypaint them.
