Since I know some of you live in New York, I wanted to see if anyone knew who this girl was... This is kind of messed up...11 year olds on AIM? I think people should be at least 13 or so. There are some shady people out there. What do you guys think?

It could have been a setup for a police sting or something like that, to see if you would try to solicit someone you believed to be a girl of 11.

I do think it's rather odd that 'she' told you that she was eleven, and then asked if that was 'ok'. My mind would be very busy saying "uh, there's something very strange about all this".

Good move, signing off. Bonus points for doing it nicely. My wife likes that TV show where they ambush pedofiles who solicit children on the net. If "Nicole" is what she said she was she did well too.

I don't quite know her... maybe it's because New York has quite a few people. She probably isn't real if she told you all of that information.

some states have a limit on age difference for minors...in some states it's technically illegal for minors to have sex

Well, I was thinking of going to Texas for college... but by then I will be 18 or 19 and not very interested in the youngsters.
