So, I totaled my roadbike conversion, and I'm back on the ol' Diamondback. I guess it's gonna be that kind of summer.

Sucks man. Breaking any part in general isn't fun. But especially brakes.

Oh i know that, i was just stating that nothing can ruin a day of riding more then having your brakes snap or not work. Well except maybe getting hit by a car...

That too. If you had ever been brakeless, it probably wouldn't have been such a problem. If you are truly ghetto you can put it in the front and then just jump off when it lifts into the air.

Yes if you put your foot in the tire on the front and just lean way back it wont flip you as fast or as hard and then you can just easily jump over the bars.

From: Take a deep breath, and ask--What would Sheldon do?

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

I hope you are all right--I couldn't bear to finish reading the whole thread. I'm glad to see that you have apparently not lost not your sense of humour. Also, we need more of your photos in the Art thread.
