What kind of frame and wheels are you looking into? Frame: Formula Nucleus-Pro black or white. idk yet. Wheels: Profile mini hubs-purple or green 14G black spokes alloy nips Sun CR 18 1.5" rims. |
Haha. How much does all that cost?

Is that heavy for Flatland?
|
I wish my bike weighed 23 lbs.
|
weight is a very personal thing. i've had a crankless setup due to a back injury a couple years ago-that was around 17lbs. For me, that was TOOO light, but it kept me on one wheel. 20 lbs is my magic number now, give or take.
|
and yes, over time, i think a lot of riders end up with lighter bikes. when i started 5-6 years ago, my bike was around 30lbs. going lighter happens over time. i'm pretty open about being a weight freak tho. less weight=less fatigue=riding longer and harder with less soreness. word.
but seriously, that Strowler is on point. I hear they ride very well. |

I know weight is personal. But I can get over soreness its not hard. But if I had the money to get new parts and make my bike light i would.

That's exactly what I was getting at in my earlier post, that over time (years), most people want to go lighter. I'm getting what ya'll might consider old, and riding everyday at some point starts to wear down a body. I can't always snap back to 100% the next day if I've ridden a whole lot the day before. anyways. idk
|
you haven't seen me ride :)
trust me, I get worked over pretty thoroughly. |
haha.
and to answer punx from like a week ago, im gettin the Failure Roseanne bars, the Eastern Forged sprocket, and the Alienation v2 freecoaster, which im gonna have laced to one of my older rims that i kept around. |

Freecoasters seem pretty cool.
|
im pretty lucky to have the money. and im pretty stoked that im gonna be gettin one. now i just have to wait for that check to come in the mail.
|
freecoasters are for wussies
|
I don't get why people buy freecoasters...is it because they can't learn how to ride fakie?
|
So they don't have to pedal backwards
|
not true. i spent 3 hrs a day for an entire week just riding up ramps and then going back down fakie, and doing 180's and just riding fakie, just to learn it.
i want a freecoaster because i think that it has its own unique style, and every rider can take it and make it his own. not having to backpedal is just a bonus. |

Ok about freescoasters:
1. They are not easier than going fakie with a cassette, if anything they are harder. 2. They are nothing but trouble and i would avoid them. |
