Watch that sprocket. I've heard of a lot of Medusa's bending or even tacoing just from pedaling.

MastaDizasta 07-07-09 10:34 AM

Yeah I've been meaning to replace it but just haven't been riding enough lately to do so.

minichamp31 07-07-09 10:42 AM

Oh alright. Get something that's at least 7075 aluminum, 7075-T6 is even better.

Ryan k. 07-07-09 11:31 AM

haha thats the sprocket i have, i need a new one anyways cause i need a 25t anyone have one??

fuzzbox 07-07-09 12:21 PM

Why would you want a 25t?

Ryan k. 07-07-09 12:54 PM

because the wheel i bought has a 10t driver and right know i have a 23t sprocket and the gearing would be all screwed up.

FuzzyRyder 07-07-09 01:08 PM

you need a 28 then.

minichamp31 07-07-09 01:13 PM

I can't wait until I run 28/10. 33/10 first though when I get my new wheel. Hahaha.

Street rider 07-07-09 03:05 PM

i was thinking about going like 28/10 or 30/11, but almost all the freecoasters out there nowadays are only in 9t. and im just lazy. but i think there might be an 11t driver available for the alienation hubs. either way im just too lazy to look around too hard.

FuzzyRyder 07-07-09 06:26 PM

i run 30 - 10 its dope.

I was also thinking that, as I mainly ride it around the track during practice time/intermission/after race and in the park. There's no street around me really. The rollout on that like 67.

Ryan k. 07-07-09 08:41 PM

ok well ya i need a 25 or 28 i dont really care which one.

Street rider 07-07-09 08:53 PM

28 would be better

Ryan k. 07-07-09 11:08 PM

ya i know it would, i'll just be happy with which ever one i can get.

Street rider 07-08-09 09:00 AM

These are for 2.1" tires.
25/9 - 55.6
26/9 - 57.8
27/9 - 60
28/9 - 62.2

I got a gear chart from Dan's and it makes it really easy.

eight pack 07-08-09 03:12 PM

Ryan k. 07-08-09 03:51 PM

haha ya, but purple wouldnt go with my bike.

eight pack 07-08-09 03:58 PM

you can always paint it ill do 35 to your door

Street rider 07-08-09 06:11 PM
