Sweet Bike! I didn't know Quaman still made frames. I thought they only made mid school flat land frames. I love what you did with the front end.

You better be above 6'2'' to run those bars. That is just ridiculous.

Everytime I see Vert1go's race bike, I think I get a little too happy. That thing is sooo nice. But Fuzzbox, your Quamen looks pretty clean. Except for that nasty seat. And WTP, I love how you always run your lever on the left side. I was thinking about trying it just for the hell of it.

he might be left handed though
|
But i'm not.
|
You broke your right hand at some point or something didn't you? And now it's just preference. But isn't that how like all Australians ride their bikes?
|

In Australia we generally go left hand rear/right hand front when a bike has both brakes.
On bikes with only a rear brake it tends to vary. Some people keep it on the left so they know their left hand always has the rear brake; other people like it on the right so they know their right hand always has the main brake. Personally I prefer the latter. |

Bwesky, what is with your brake cable?
And Joe, that's a pretty good set-up. |

Here is a shot of the ride I picked up today. I haven't had one of these for like 10 years! haha is it just me, or are these a little heavier than they used to be?:twitchy:I still need to adjust the seat and bars, but I haven't got that far yet!
|
mini champ he just needs to turn his bars around.
and thenks i got it down to 22.7 pounds and i got a lighter stem coming soon. and front wheel that damn hula hoop is strong but heavy |
That's what I figured but it looked really weird. But that's way light for a street bike. My race bike is prob like 20.
|
yeah its usually really solid too but now im having front end trouble..
|
bars spun around so i dont have a cable sticking a foot in front of the bike :thumb:
|
^^^I helped him build it back up today and he was in a hurry to go ride it again after it had been torn down for 2 weeks.
|
straight cable=no barspins
gyro=ugly |
That could be a dumba** move. Did you at least check everything over?
And btw, you can do barspins and tailwhips with a straight cable, it just has to be a little longer and a linear cable helps A LOT. |
