I feel your pain. I didn't go to a Christian school, but I know how you feel. I'm not very fond of religion. I'm glad that it works for some people, but I just don't believe in it as it doesn't make sense to me due to what I know through scientific fact.

I just find it hard to believe how god could be such a d-bag if he was real.

I'm not going to preach, but the stuff Jesus/the other earlier prophets said was what people 2000+ years ago could handle. They would not have been psyched if he was all "yeah, you guys were totally monkeys once"
