No, i know what those are for. But the pad's that are on your toptube, stem, and all that. Not pad's you wear.

They're basically just to help you so if you hit your bars or stem or slip a pedal and fall on your toptube. Mine don't really help with the last one though, as it's really thin and small. But you're supposed to have them on your bike when you race but a lot of people don't.

Yeah, they're basically useless. But depending on the track, the rules require them.
Plus the right set makes your bike scream BMX!!!

you don't need pads on your bike... the rules changed a few years ago. don't waste your money, they dont do anything for you anyway.
