i'm new to this and i just got a new k2 and i'm woundering what i should do to it first a 3pcs crank or some double wall rim and then what? thanks steve

3 piece cranks are always a good upgrade, great choice in the bike, I knew a guy who rode a Mongoose DMC back in the day, similar geometry, just heavier, and one of the original frames to incorporate an oversized rear axle....but thats just useless trivia....lol

good luck, and I definately recommend the cranks, wheels can be trued for a while, bent cranks keep you off your bike
