Slammed seats?...

What's the advantage to running slammed seats? I'm a rider from the 80-90's that got back into it last year.

You will never sit on it so light as well keep it as far out of your way as possible. I wish they would get away from seats altogether and just put a straight top tube.

Wow, hhuffman is dumb. A straight trials style toptube on a BMX would be the stupidest thing ever.

it seems to be out of the way for some tricks like "bunnyhops" and tabletops.

you can cut your seat tube shorter for less weight, you have more room to tuck and the seat wont get so torn up on wrecks.

and on a big drop to flat you dont bust your man parts on your seat. One of my main reasons for doing it.

I havent rode in a LONG time now. I need to find where i left my bike.

and if there were no seats, you would be busting you man parts alot when you missed the pedals.

That has nothing to do with anything.
