Last I check my Free Agent was 29 pounds. I've ran 43/18 on my cruisers since 1987. No need to change a good thing.

That might be a kind of windy gear ratio.

It's not bad. I did run a 46/16 on my 20" and 43/18 on my 24" is close to a 47/16 on a 20" gear ratio wise. I once raced against a guy who ran 45/14 on his 20" that was crazy gear.
