I am wondering if i should get 3 piece cranks. I weigh 150 lbs. So should I get 3 piece cranks???

+1 I went through 3-4 or so sets of one piece cranks back before I decided to switch. and I was around 120 lbs.

the eastern 720 arent that bad. i think im gettin em because theyre not too bad. or the maderas cause i need a new BB kit and theyre both the same price that way...almost

Agree.
Madera cranks will be decent as they are made by profile.
I think (if memory is correct) they are a fair bit heavier though.
I would still trust them over pretty much any other set of cranks on the market though.

get a BB kit with your cranks.... just make sure that they have SEALED bearings

and eastern isnt crap... theyre just not as good as some other companies that charge almost twice as much for a part thats almost exactly the same.

ok so theyre not as nice as a set of profiles, but theyre better than any stock parts you'll get. plus i dont usually have problems with my cranks so i like to go with decent ones that are a little bit cheaper.

Cheap is good. I also want pedals to go with it I like the Primo Tenderizers. Any other suggestions?

what a load of crap...what kind of bike do you have that your stock cranks are so good?
