24" Cruiser Question

Hi, nice forum here. I have been out of biking for some years now and am not sure what is up with everything anymore. The last bmx I had was a freestyle with layed back seat post, standing platform on the top tube, and skyway mags; to give an idea of how long it has been. I just purchased a Shadow Conspiracy cruiser and was thinking about putting a larger sprocket on for a higher gear ratio. The 36T that came stock is very close to the chainstay and there is defiantly no room for anything larger. Is there any way around this? Spacers/etc? I have thought about a smaller freewheel to raise the ratio but I think I would prefer to increase the sprocket size.

Also, I am finding it difficult to find 24" tubes and tires. The tires that came stock(krad) are far from spectacular and are extremely heavy. I am slightly concerned with weight and was looking for some light 24 x 1.95 tubes and tires. I cannot seem to find them anywhere, not even much of a selection of 24" anything light weight or not.

Any help with these things would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian T

For the sprocket, I don't really know, but for the tubes and tires, try your LBS, or just order some from Dan's Comp.
