What mongoose should i get

Should i get a 2007 menace or an 08 mischief. I would use it for freestyle and bmx racing.

Yup, and freestyle and racing are different. You would need two different bikes.

We told you. Mongoose made a bad name for themselves by selling s*** bikes in X-marts. I just hope now that GT was purchased by Pacific Cycles, it won't happen to them.

its already happening to them, gt's dyno line is all in walmart, and the quality of there biikes has definitely dropped. Ive got an old thumper from about 7 years ago, mint and completly stock. its a sick bike everthing is chromoly, and its build beefy and built very well. dont see half that quality this bike has into there bikes today.

Bikes: 2008 Kink Transition with upgrades, 2007 Haro Thread 1 with upgrades.

Get the Shield. It looks sick, and has good components.

yeah i had a fuzz from 03 or so, maybe older don't rememeber, and it was a solid bike. Learned how to grind on it and everything that the back end stayed straight and never even got a dent. Then i sold it.
