help?
hi..hopefully i'm not posting in the wrong place..i'm new to this board, i just have a quick question. i'm selling a 2001 free agent ambush 24 bmx bike, i got a reply from someone asking "how light the bike is", and being that i'm clueless when it comes to this stuff, i was hoping someone could possibly help me out with that question? if theres somewhere else on the forum that i should be posting this question into, just let me know and i'll head on over there

Or just step on a bathroom scale without the bike, check the weight, then step on it again while holding the bike and figure it out.

26lbs for an aluminum bike isn't that like, I've seen chromoly bikes that weigh less than that. Also the bathroom scale thing doesn't work that well unless you have your weight and the bike weight distributed properly. If it is leaning too much to one side it might be heavier than it really is.

try hold it above your head... that'll work... unless you can't lift it that high for long enough (i'm not saying you're weak, i'm just saying that to be thorough)
