Powdercoating

Hey guys, new here.

I am looking at powercoating my s&m LTF, because the zinc (chosen by s&m cause its a weightless paint) scratches way to easy. But i am just wondering, will the heat at which powder coating melts or hardens 350-390 degress F hurt the frame, or weaken it?

Powerdercoating is applied with electrostatic, so will that hurt the frame also?

Thanks in advance.

No. People powdercoat vintage road frames all the time, because the original paint gets trashed over 30 years' time. I've never heard of this causing any problems with the frame afterwards.
