this is a dumb, juvinile(sp?) question that I hear alot at the skatepark.

I think it's relative.
what I mean is, skating/biking/blading is fairly easy at the begining level. but each person learns differently so while someone may pick up one 'sport' easier then the next person that doesn't make the whole 'sport' easier for each indivdual.

the bottom line is, who cares what is 'harder' or 'easier'. just have fun.

I personaly skate and ride a bike. usually the kids that say one or the other is harder/better don't do both.

skating is harder though because your not holding onto your board like you are when riding a bike. I don't know about blading. it looks kinda gay to me....

Yep pnj I agree. I used to play hockey on blades, pretty easy. BMX is harder than that, but skating by far is more difficult.

I think flatland on a bike is up there in difficulty as well.

i had the most difficulty learning how to skate and landing anything. with my old bmx and to a lesser degree blades, i could at least fake those a bit. at the higher levels, they can all be as difficult as anything else. at the beginning level, i think bmx is easier.

skating - hardest to become well at

roller blading - a freakin' joke

My list

Sk8ing-Too hard - I ride slow like I'm on a boardwalk
BMX- Also too hard - I just jump on curbs so like it matters.
Blading- HAHAH yea right..

The winner is...

My Gravity bong - This thing has got to be the hardist to master.

Well apparently you gave a damn enough to answer it, then you insult the persn who asked the question, or the ones who answered it I am not sure on that one.

if you thought the question was dumb, and all the posters are dumb.. why reply?

does this mean you think you're dumb too**********

just asking... i'm confused... 'cause i'm dumb -- because i replied...

I don't think its pointless, no matter waht, to ask other people about their opinions on things that interest you. Insulting people in the forum is not pointless, it would even give you more attention -- negative attention that is.

You may not be trying to be negative, but you are that way in this thread. Bottom line is that is what this forum is here for, ask questions get answers. Why post badgering comments? Why not just post nothing instead? Oh by the way kids are baby sheep. If you mean children as it applies to humans, I know for a fact that myself at 37, I am not a child. I also think that dexmax, and pnj are not children as well.

Kids are baby goats, sheep>lambs.

Skating vert was the hardest thing I ever did. Bmx\ urban goes vert on bikes- so I'm not going to say skatings harder or x-treme, its just requires more skill to remain attached to the equiptment.

Never bladed, probably never will. You gotta carry your sneakers around, dumb.

Well, if you are learning to do tricks, and ask for advice?
You getting it would depend on someone bothering to post.
If your rude, nobody will give advice. Simple social skills apply.

pnj posts lots for kids learning tricks..( he stated he's hopped 3 feet high-OMG.)
I don't skate anymore, I'm Tony Hawk's age, still talk to kids about skating and give a little OL' school advice. Same w\ bmx.

Don't forget the ancients invented the stuff, we just can't do it as hard anymore.
Late 30's you get sore for a looong time when you burn.

Have a wicked time riding, congrats with the bunny hops.
Took me a while to master on a mtb for sure.
