it's good to know that there is someone like you to keep order in bmx(which, last time I checked, didn't have any rules.) so kids don't do the 'wrong' thing.

why is a 'nose wheelie' called a 'nose wheelie' if you don't pedal?

I ride a bmx so I can do what I want, not what the coach tells me to do.

yea, they are funny, but not a trick, my one gheto friend does them ocasionally for fun or to make fun of people who do them and we all laugh. Never practice them, I'de practice my manuals before a wheelie..

?? its just lifting your front wheel off the ground...

i consider wheelies a trick, they are the basis of manuels. why are people going to make fun of you because you pop your front off the ground?

they are talking about pedal wheelies a.k.a. willies.. not lifting your front off the ground. that would be "popping" a wheelie; not what i was talkign about.

I can only do a wheelie for like 4 pedals :S

But I'm on a mountain bike, and I'm just working on bunny hops lately.

Wheelie- Riding on your back wheel while pedaling.
ok look....wheelies may not be a trick
they may be a trick but i think that all you people who make fun of wheelies say that because you cant do it.....try a wheelie....when you get going fast you'll see its not as easy as it sounds

Funny stuff Bike Guy!! I think back to when my parents used to take my bike away. Mostly for not coming home in time. We would be out thrashin' and not come home until somebody broke something.(Tire, wheel, leg, whatever). Thanks for the laugh and keep crankin, it only gets better man.

well who ever said wheelies arnt a trik anyway, i mean seriously, there is some skill in ridin wheelies, there a trick thats kinda hard to do good on a bike, isnt freestyle basically doin tricks on bikes, hard tricks, easy tricks, flatland tricks, vert tricks, thats wat i always thought freestyle was but maybe there is some booklet i can buy that tells me wat a trick is and wats not, idk, thanx for anyhelp.

wow, chill man, i didnt mean to "dis" wheelies, but I dont think they are a trick.. You ask for a booklet.. but would you say puting your foot on the ground while going really fast is a trick, sure you could call it that. but its not really. Yea, a wheelie is a "trick," but its just a funny one..

and I'm not being an ass here.. but the same person who sarcastically mentioned a BMX "handbook" also asked " is it an u intermediate, expert or pro trick?." I'm not here to cause trouble, I've been riding for a long time so I just have certain opinions.. including this one. I like the looks of this place so far and intend to stick around.. perhaps to learn a little about flatland.. something I dont know about. So for now, just chill.
