Bike shops...
If a new shop opened up the street from from you, what would you like to see from it? Choice brands and if so which, solid mechanics, smart staff, value pricing, cool layout, etc? I've always had an interest in running a shop and am curious to see the answers.

Just a chill place for people. Smart mechanics are a must. Good layout. Good selection of brands.
Oh and if you're thinking of starting one, it would probably be a good idea to carry skateboarding stuff as well.

Inventory system online that actually uses live data instead of just whenever someone bothers to update the site. ****s me when a shop's website says they've got something "in stock" but then you actually go in and they haven't had it in stock since like 2007 and don't have a supplier and have no idea if they'll ever get it in stock again
