That subrosa is junk.
Your better off with a DK helio, or the DK Raimei if danscomp has them on sale still when you get enough money to buy a bike.

Subrosa Salvador was the only bike from Danscomp that I actually liked, all the rest of them had bad colors and had weird accessories that looked like they were old, as in the grips looked faded or like they would glow in the dark. I liked the black/red bike the most, when I saw it It immediately caught my attention and I knew I had to get it.
MY26INCHCRUISER, so you like that bike and already have two? So I made a good choice?

I like the colors of the bike.If it had a cromo frame it would be better.
I have 2 Sunday custom builds ,One model-c and a second wave I am building now.
It Will be finished early next week.I still have a lace up my Gsport rims to the hubs.

Great that's not something I want to hear, how long does the rim last? When you get the subrosa salvador from dans do you have to lace up the sppkes?

If you can maintain unsealed bearings yourself, then you can make them last a really long time. I still have a single walled DK rim with unsealed hub on my spare bike that i ride in the rain.

Hey if you buy the Subrosa Salvador from danscomp do you have to lace the wheels or are they already done? Because I don't know how to lace up a wheel and I don't wanna go pay like $50 or whatever at bike shop or else i won't get bike built for a while.

I like how you picked it because of the colors.

Exactly. Colors can be repainted pretty easily. You should buy a bike with the best parts for the money.

I picked it because it's in my price range, has pretty good components, looks good, and is better than all 3 of my bmxs put together

Oh don't lie. You only picked it for the color/looks.

https://www.danscomp.com/101251.php?cat=BIKES

This bike is even better and it is cheaper.

Or for a few dollars more for something that will last
https://www.danscomp.com/101252.php?cat=BIKES

But knowing people like you, you will get the bike you want and regret it later.

I changed my mind, I'm going to buy the dk helio instead of subrosa salvador. Can dk bikes take a beating?

Yeah, I'm just going to probably wait for another paycheck other than the next two, because I split my checks with my parents for bills, plus I'll need gas. So I'm going to have to wait a little bit. I can't wait though, all I have now are cheapo bikes, my nicest bike is from Toy'r'us..

the old standard for bmx frame measurement is in inches, and measures the center to center measurement of the top tube from where it meets seat tube, to the head tube juncture, just remember to mark the centerlines of the seat tube and head tube to make that easier.
Remember if your height is about 5-7 but the frame is a pro Xl with a 21 inch top tube, you have way more leg room than you need, and with more wheelbase that handicaps you with jumps, turns etc. Greg Hill raced on a GT pro that was smallish in length (18.5") and he was of avge height as a top BMX pro.
