Well, to understand where I am coming from you have to know some what about my bike. Allow me to spill it. I ride a Solid Wasp Frame with a GT Racing Crank (180 [ Temporay Crank ]), Mosh Method ( 39T ) Sprocket, Haro Landing Pad Seat, Haro Seat-Post, Kenda K-Rad tires, Alex MX-22 48 rims ( Double Walls ), Haro Slim Bars ( Super Thick ), Primo Grips, Haro Bar Ends, Haro Neck, and of course the Haro Big Block peddles. Now, its not the best set up in the world but its rides smooth...except...for the fact there is a strange noise coming from the bottom bracket area. I'm not sure if its blow peddles or cause the chain is tight in different spots or what? Is there any suggestions of what this mysteriouse noise could be?

It dosen't matter if you already have a thread on it man. Its someone else. I, am my own person and have my own problems and questions to ask, so I created this topic. Sorry, if that seemed rude. I wasn't trying to be.

It's probably the bearings inside the 3-piece cranks. Get some Tri-Flow and pull your crank arms off, then put some tri-flow on the bearings. This will likely get rid of the noise you are hearing. It is also possibly from the cranks (not as likely) or the pedals or somewhere else. You really, REALLY want to try to isolate exactly where the noise is coming from. Loosen your chain if it is tight and see if it continues. You can spray you chain with Tri-Flow, but then you will need to degrease it (gasoline or other) later on as that is not a good move.

I would start with the bearings in your bottom bracket and go from there.
