tips on dirt riding

i need some tips. is there any websites that can give me a bunch of tips like the correct way to jump, and stuff like that

it will sound stupid but i was jumping off my friends deck with his bike. i didn't get the back wheel up so i ended up landing front wheel first. when the wheel hit, the back of the bike started rotating under me. in a way it was cool. it was like a mini tailwhip.
