Street rider, I'm sure you can school him on how he can make the vids less shaky. What setting do you use on YOUR camera? Which camera do you use? Perhaps that tip would benefit him. 
As a matter of fact, maybe you can post some of your samples to show him an example on the different effects that can be achieved.
