question
I saw this bike on ebay for £100. No one bought it so I contacted the owner andd he said he would sell it for £75 (about $120). Is it worth it. I know it has no chain or brake pads but he says that they are included. I am also aware that it has no pedals. Is it worth what he says it is?

No, it most definitely is not worth it.
What type of riding are you looking to do? Race, dirt, street, vert, flatland? Any bike over about 3-4 years old should be a real bargain, not 'about half of new'. I'm not even sure that bike IS about half of new. For about $300.00US you get bikes with 3-piece tubular cranks and good geometry... really, that bike is no deal.

OMG definitely not worth it. That bike looks like a toddler's bike. I would just spend a couple hundred more and get a new setup instead. I recomment any of the GT bikes. They're reliable, strong, and hardly break down. Dont buy it. Tha't my opinion since I think it's a rip.
