It is a big event in this area. Some quick stats:
This year, Southern Tier AIDS prevention raised over $207,000 with this event. The team i rode on was the third top fundraising group (over 10K!) and was the largest team of riders. The ride is just perfect, a century around Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, there are also options for 43,50 and 90 mile legs. I set a new personal record this year, 100.62 mi in 5:35!
I participate every year, and spend the winter looking for that sweet bike to refurbish for our raffle. Many thanks to all who contributed!
Cheers!
